RNIP: Vernon is one of the designated communities of Canada’s Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Project (RNIP). To apply for the Vernon RNIP, you need to have 1 year of continuous full-time and part-time employment in Vernon, with a salary exceeding the minimum income standard, and be recommended by the community letter.
Vernon received 2,457 permanent residents who have passed the RNIP in 2023, exceeding the target. The Vernon RNIP project is currently suspended, but there is an opportunity to restart it in the future.
