PEI PNP

Introduction:

PEI PNP consists of the following categories: PEI PNP Express Entry, Labour Impact Category and Business Impact Category. Labour Impact Category includes Skilled Worker Stream, Critical Worker Stream and International Graduates Stream. Business Impact Category includes: Work Permit Stream.

PEI PNP Express Entry Category Criteria:

  1. Qualify for one of the Federal Express Entry programs
  2. Create profile in PEI’s EOI
  3. A profile is reviewed and assigned points based on six selection factors: age, language, education, work experience, employment, and adaptability

Skilled Worker Stream Criteria:

  1. Have a full-time long-term job offer from a PEI employer in NOC skill level 0, A, or B
  2. have successfully completed a post-secondary degree or diploma (minimum two-year program)
  3. be between the ages of 18 and 59
  4. have at least two years of full-time work experience in the past five years
  5. possess sufficient English and/or French language ability to perform the job offered or have minimum score of CLB 4
  6. have sufficient financial resources for the applicant and family to pay all immigration costs (including travel expenses) to be able to establish in PEI
  7. demonstrate a genuine intention to settle in PEI
  8. Have legal status if residing in Canada

Critical Worker Stream Criteria:

  1. Be between 18 and 59 years of age
  2. Have a full-time, long-term (minimum of two years) job offer from a PEI employer in some designated occupations(including truck driver, customer service representative, labourer, food and beverage server or housekeeping attendant)
  3. Have worked at least six months full-time for the PEI employer
  4. Hold a valid work permit
  5. Have at least a high school education, or equivalent
  6. Have a minimum level of CLB 4
  7. Have at least two years of full-time work experience or relevant education in the past five years
  8. Have sufficient settlement funds
  9. Intend to settle in PEI

The International Graduates Stream Criteria:

  1. Be between 18 and 29 years of age
  2. Have a full-time, permanent job offer in their field of study from a PEI employer in a skilled position
  3. Have a valid post-graduate work permit
  4. Have completed at least a two-year diploma or degree program while studying full-time from the recognized PEI university or college
  5. possess sufficient English and/or French language ability to perform the job
  6. Demonstrate sufficient funds to settle successfully in PEI
  7. Intend to settle in PEI

Work Permit Stream Criteria:

  1. Be within 21-59 years of age at the time of application
  2. Have a minimum verifiable personal net worth of $600,000
  3. Have a minimum education of secondary school equivalent
  4. Have transferable management skills and past employment or business ownership experience
  5. Meet minimum language requirements equivalent to a CLB4
  6. Submit a Business Plan
  7. Attend an interview with staff from the Office of Immigration
  8. Intend to live in PEI
  9. Meet the terms and conditions of the Performance Agreement signed with the Office of Immigration
