Alberta PNP

Introduction:

AINP consists of five streams: Alberta Opportunity Stream, Alberta Express Entry Stream, Self-Employed Farmer Stream, International Graduate Entrepreneur Immigration Stream and Foreign Graduate Star-Up Visa Stream.

The Alberta Opportunity Stream, launched in 2018, replaces the previous Employer-driven Stream and Strategic Recruiting Stream, allowing applicants to apply on their own. This stream applies to applicants who are currently engaged in full-time qualified occupation in the province and requires the applicant to meet the minimum requirements for work status, occupation, language, education and work experience. The Alberta Express Entry Stream allows Alberta to nominate a limited number of qualified candidates from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s Express Entry system. Only candidates who are asked to submit an application to the Alberta Express Entry Stream will be considered. Express Entry candidates nominated will receive an additional 600 points in CRS and an ITA for PR. Self-employed Farmer Stream is designed to target experienced farm owners and operators who wish to own and operate a farm in Alberta.
